I LOVE being able to make sneaky treats for my kiddos. Every single time I make any kind of Shakeology cookie, they GOBBLE them up! The hubby does too! And for a variation, you could use vanilla Shakeology as well.
Just because it’s the holidays doesn’t mean that we have to eat sugar filled treats.
One great tip to think about is this: if you are going to a holiday party where you know there will be LOTS of temptation, why not offer to bring some treats of your own and make up a healthy “treat” to take instead!
1 cup all-natural almond butter
1 tsp pure almond extract
1 cup quick-cooking rolled oats
½ cup raw honey
1 cup Chocolate Shakeology
Mix all ingredients well in a large mixing bowl, form into balls and flatten (to look like a traditional cookie) top with chopped nuts, crushed pretzel pieces, dried fruit, crushed candy cane, etc to make them a little more festive and refrigerate for at least 1 hour and enjoy!
